elective subject out of the following six groups of subjects.1. Polical Science,
2.HIstory, 3. Logic/ Sociology, 4. Economic, 5.Education / Home Scince, 6.Oriya .
Political Science (256) Economics (256), Logic(256), Oriya (256).
Sociology (48), Education (64), Home Science (32 for girls only).

Indian Society & Culture Population Stud- ies - 3rd Year
Hons. Subjects : Poltical Science, History, Oriya.
Pass Subjects : Poltical Science, History, Economics,
Oriya, Sociology, Philosophy.
Elective Subjects : Indian Polity, Indian Economy,
Landmarks (for Hons & Pass Student) in Indian History, Philosophy, Sociology, Oriya.
Elective 'A' : Indian Polity, Indian Economics,
Philoso- phy.
Elective 'B' : Landmark in Indian History, Sociology/
Oriya.
Each Student shall select two Elective Subjects - one from Elective 'A' & other from Elective 'B' subject to following conditions.
(a) Indian Polity, Indian Economics, landmark in Indian History cannot be opted as Elective Subjects with Honours/ Pass in Political Science, Economics, History respectively.
(b) A student can opt for any two Elective Subjects - One from Elective 'A' and Other from Elective 'B' with pass
/ Honours in Oriya & pass in Philosophy and Sociology.
All the subject mentioned in Honours are also treated as pass subjects. In addition to Honours / Pass subject a student has to study compulsory as well as Elective Subject.
